Fantasy Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

Fantasy contests on Prima are games of skill. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in entry fee leagues. Free leagues are available to users 13+. Entry fee leagues may be restricted in certain jurisdictions.

2. Free Leagues

Free pick'em and draft leagues have no entry fee and no cash prizes. Bragging rights only. Available to all users 13+.

3. Entry Fee Leagues

When available (feature-flagged), entry fee leagues charge a one-time fee to join. Entry fees are held in escrow via Stripe until the league completes. Prima takes a 5% platform fee. The remaining 95% goes to the prize pool.

4. Prize Distribution

Prize structure is set by the commissioner before the league drafts. Common structures: winner-take-all, top-3, top-half. Prizes are distributed automatically when the league season ends.

5. Refunds

• Before draft: Full refund if you leave or are removed
• After draft: Prorated refund with commissioner approval
• League cancelled: All fees refunded in full

6. Fair Play

Collusion, multi-accounting, and manipulation of league outcomes are prohibited. Commissioners can raise disputes. Prima may investigate and take action including forfeiture of prizes and account suspension.

7. Scoring

Fantasy scores are calculated from official game statistics. Scoring uses a lifecycle: PENDING → LIVE → PROVISIONAL → FINAL → CORRECTED. Stat corrections may occur within sport-specific windows after a game ends.
