Community Guidelines
Effective Date: March 2026 | Last Updated: March 2026
Prima exists to celebrate women's sports and the people who love them. These guidelines help keep our community welcoming, safe, and fun for everyone.
Be Respectful
Disagree with a take? Great — sports are about passion. But attack the argument, not the person. Trash talk about teams and players is part of the game. Targeting other users is not.
No Harassment or Hate Speech
Discrimination based on gender, race, sexuality, disability, or any other identity has no place on Prima. This includes slurs, dogwhistles, and coded language. Our moderation system catches this automatically, and our team reviews edge cases.
No Spam or Self-Promotion
Don't post the same thing repeatedly. Don't use Prima to promote products, services, or other platforms. Creator Mode exists for content creation — use that instead of spamming community feeds.
Protect Privacy
Don't share other people's personal information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.). Don't screenshot and share private messages without consent. Respect athletes' privacy — they're people, not content.
Youth Safety
Users under 18 have additional protections. Content directed at minors is subject to stricter moderation. Inappropriate contact with youth accounts results in immediate account termination.
Reporting
See something that violates these guidelines? Report it. Every post, comment, and chat message has a report option. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action — typically within 24 hours.
Enforcement
Violations follow an escalating action ladder:
- Warning — first-time minor violations
- Mute — temporary inability to post (24h-7d)
- Suspension — temporary account lockout (7d-30d)
- Ban — permanent account removal (for severe or repeated violations)
Severe violations (threats, CSAM, doxxing) skip the ladder and result in immediate suspension or ban. Appeals are available for all actions.
